I don't think this list is a forum to push the technological envelope,
which is what peer review is about. I do think this list can serve as an
enlightening and educational experience to get new ideas to explore and
possibly add to one's bag of tricks. In other words, no one on this list
should expect any one to catch a fish for them. Perhaps, some one will post
an idea that will help them catch more fish on their own. I have noticed a
disturbing tendency for some to get upset if someone points to a path but
doesn't take them to the destination. The trip is our own responsibilty. Any
tips or directions are a gift.
