Ira:
The fact that the moon has scientifically measurable and important
influences upon us all is indisputable. However, it is a stretch to assume
that the moon effects can be equated in any way shape or form to astral
effects of planets within zodiac signs. Why are we to assume that a visual
orientation of a particular planet within a zodiac sign has any influence
whatsoever on our lives, let alone to have a predictive effect on the
markets? Certainly, gravitational effects can and do influence our internal
ionic structures, as over 60% of the human body is composed of water.
However, the gravitational effects of the planets are negligible and the
gravitational effects of faraway stars or galaxys infinitely small in
comparison to the moon. So if the cause of astral effects presumed to occur
by visual planetary positions within star patterns is gravitational, we will
be hard pressed to prove how these visual orientations influence the
gravitational field in which we live. If the effects are by some other
means, like "the force", then it will be even harder to measure.
I continue this discussion in this manner in hopes of receiving some
satisfying explanation for the proposed effects of astral influences, not by
contentiousness, but in a spirit of learning.

Subject: [RT] DA MOON
I am not an asto buff, but I did get the Delta book several years ago.
If you were trading the Euro I would have to say that there seems to be
a distinct correlation between the highs and lows and the phases of the
moon. Each color on a bar is for that specfic moon cycle and the phases
are noted below. There are many other futures, stocks and indexes that
come up with similar uncanny relationships. This is informational only
and I thought it would be of interest to those, like me, who have doubts
about the astro influence. Ira.
