I was not insisting that it be simple. I was looking for a simple
astro system just as a start, to get a quantitative idea of the kinds
of 'indicators' and logical processes used in astro.Simple astro method for NASDAQ: when there is trine aspect between moon and mars,I look then if the market has being up or down and how far, is it in the beginning of measured moved, mid or end, I look then at angle, zero angle, natural cycles, how many days up, where is simple exp. moving average, are we above that or below,I look at candle stck pattern with their relation to the volume, I look on all the other patterns,...etcI have a check list to check and measure everything.I take my work seriously and I AM NOT AFRAID OF BEING WRONG.

<snip lots of stuff>

This is a very large number of items.Yes, it is large but once you do it once, it will require minor update. If you use all of them, how do
you combine them? If not, how do you select those to use for a
particular trade? I must look at everything, when I see for example we were up significantly and we are due for correction then I look at the natural cycles and check trine and other relations specific for that stock which proven historically important, then for example of the natural cycle gives me a date and it is the same date given by a trine relation then the candle stick pattern match and MACD gives me divergence and also RSI. After such analysis I know with high probability where will be the turning point. I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN TRADING "TIME IS EVERYTHING" take this sentence from me and remember, once you master it you become a master.

There seem to many non-astro techniques on the list. What is the
relative value of the astro versus the non-astro parts? The non-astro
parts can be quantified easily and checked. What do we check for the
astro parts?both are important and I have to look at them, I trade against other traders, I have to know how they think and how they react

Yep. 'System' people might call this pattern recognition. They would
ask what steps you do in your mind to make this pattern apparent. This
is sometimes difficult, and people often do not consciously know what
they really do. The 'knowledge engineering' needed to get from a
'picture' to a computer algorithm is very often long and hard. You are right, it could be experience that create these pictures in my mind.If you ask me, what are the steps, after I do the analysis, it gives me an impulse of the trend and I immediately pull the trigger, I will not think twice. All the messages I posted should be very helpful to the people who listen and do their own analysis. I have posted a message last Sunday saying that Nasdaq will be up Monday(and it was up) then Monday I posted another message for Tuesday to be up and it was up, also I hinted of what are my expectation to the rest of the week,
HA> This is how I trade, I am sorry if I disappoint you.

*You* do not disappoint me at all. I may be disappointed that this is
not an example of an astro 'system', but I really DO appreciate your
comments and descriptions. I am hoping we can finally bridge the gap.

Thanks,

ztraderZtrader, do your homework and continue training, you have to be better than 95%(the losers) to make money consistently. Do you have the will to do it? Best wishes, Haytham
