Yikes! Good question!
I use it when prices have 'drifted' out of a normal Andrews ML set. Take a
look at this example I just drew up and see if it makes any sense? There
are actually a whole handful of variants and most are obscure. The schiff
has more use because GET chose to add it to their tools.
