This has been my rebuttle to the "buy and hold" "buy on the dips" camp for
years. You might be buying on the dip... or you might be buying a
depreciating asset which will never recover in your lifetime.
The public bought this "buy and hold" stuff hook line and sinker and now
they're paying for it. Passivity is no excuse for an intelligent
investment strategy.
