AW: [RT] A Perfect Wolfe Wave

Hard to say, John. I took Bill's correspondence course in 1997 or 98, out of
curiosity, to find out what was behind this setup. The price was $2,500,
which is certainly a lot of money for just one pattern.

Has it been worth it? I guess it has, because the trades I did using Wolfe
Waves were, for the most part, profitable. However, I rarely use Wolfe Waves
for trading now. There are so many simple patterns available every trading
day - breaks of support or resistance, MA-based stuff, trend channels,
wedges, pennants, some of Jeff Cooper's setups, etc. These patterns may not
be quite as intriguing as Wolfe Waves, but they do work. So I don't think
anyone would need to bother with this complicated setup in order to make
profits trading.

Just my $0.02, of course.

Thanks for the information, Mike. What does Bill Wolfe charge for his
correspondence course? I talked with him once, a year or so ago, and he
wanted, I believe, $2,500 for a day or two of personal training.
Do you feel the Wolfe Wave is worth the trouble of searching through the
many future contracts to find the appropriate setups?
Regards,
John
