HB: What is Parallax Long term weekly turns?

JP: Parallax Financial Research is run by Kris Kaufman,...pioneer work in
the field of neural networks applied to financial markets,...member of the
MTA,...a good guy,....whose work is well founded,..further explained at:
www.pfr.com

HB: How accurate have they been?

JP: Used in a vacuum,...by themselves,..the Long Term Weekly Turn dates are
"so-so". But considering what the market has done going into one of these
dates,...and other technical tools (my favorite is sentiment), my personal
feeling is that when combined with other methodologies,...(i.e. indicating
similar dates using different methods), the Long Term Weekly Turn dates are
always worth respecting. Keep in mind the dates are derived a year ahead of
time,..and do not change. There are also shorter term Parallax Daily Turn
dates,...again derived using neural network projection.

HB: What were the dates for their other turns in 2000?

JP: The six (6) Long Term Weekly Turn dates for 2000 are:
01-07, 03-13, 05-19, 09-21, 10-27, and 12-19.

Again,..I have had good success using forward looking analysis including the
Parallax Long Term Weekly Turn dates, IN CONJUNCTION WITH my own cycle/
market analysis,...and then comparing those results to the work of others.
Invariably, key time frames tend to stand out.

Hope this answers your questions,...have a good week.
