I guess it depends on what you are doing.  I use mostly log scale.  Have
found that fib retracements and projections( esp., projections), speed
resistance lines, etc. work better with log on most (but not all) markets.
My experience is that, for most markets, Gann-type 1x1 etc. type lines are
nearly exact on log charts, as opposed to only "close" on linear charts.
