Hey folks, I have gotten several request for a summary of the results of the
data feed poll, so I will be doing one later in the week. If you have not
responded, please do. The responses have been very strong, but I know there
are more of you out there. If you have questions or input on this please let
me know.

2. Are you satisfied?
At this point I have gotten about 25 responses and the only standout is BMI
cable. Every response concerning BMI cable has been negative. Actually I
am being kind. Every one has expressed extreme dissatisfaction with it. As
one respondent put it, "I am trapped in a contract for real-time data that
comes in 40 seconds late." He is an attorney and said after his last
conversation with customer service he was going to file a fraud complaint
with the FTC. "They keep giving me Bullshit and lies"
Wow. I new it was bad, but I did not know people were willing to sue. Next
thing you know there will be a class action suit filed against them.
More typical responses have been:

"Hello Andrew, I had talked to several people. I just got rid of BMI cable
and switched to DTN satellite. I like it so far. John. "

"I use Townsend Analytics... with their RealTick III software. The data
comes over the Internet and is typically 8 to 15 seconds faster than my
brokers data... I trade the S&P 500 "
(I wonder what his broker uses?)
This one From Howard was a surprise, I didn't know that Mytrack offered data
feeds. I thought it was just a brokerage.
"I mainly trade futures.
I use MyTrack Internet data feed (www.mytrack.com) with InvestorRT software
(www.linnsoft.com). They are cheaper than most and just as reliable as DTN
Satellite and ESignal. "
I'll do a summary for the group later this week, I have not received any
responses from people with BMI sat feeds, has everyone dropped them or are
they just satisfied and not bothering to vote?
