Not all spoken messages are listened to. First, the voice pattern is analyzed for specific speakers. This technology is called speaker identification and is not an easy task. For example, the speaker may try to disguise his voice, and also the trunc lines that you call on may automatically switch to a different set of wires while you are still talking. This changes the spectral charateristics of the transmitted speech. So a good speaker ID algorithm needs to overcome these and many other obstacles.
When the speaker is identified, the conversation is recorded and electronically monitored for keyword phrases. If keywords pop up, then a human listens to the recorded conversation.
Guys, this has been going on for decades. Nothing new here.

things out loud, especially those that go against official truth...
