Yup, agreed. At some point, the internet will stop being new tech and
start being old tech. That is already happening to some of the small
players. The best we can hope for is to go with the flow and not get too
set in our ways of looking at the market.
I think, for the forseeable future, the best growth will be under the
broad umbrella of technology but who knows what the next big technology
breakthrough will be. The biotech and human genome stuff looks
interesting. Lots of money to be made if they learn how to cure all
known diseases and extend our lifespans. Too bad we're probably all too
old to reap the benefits of the research.
