I installed zonealarm last night. I had a hard crash this morning. I had to
restart in safe mode to uninstall it. Everything normal now.

| ZoneAlarm isn't a true firewall, but it does help monitor applications
| accessing the internet. For a true packet filter firewall, check out
| ConSeal PC Firewall and BlackIce Defender. What seems a popular, if not
| resource intensive, combination is 1) a packet filter firewall, 2) an
| application filter, and 3) an anti-virus/anti-trojan scanner.
|
| With internet security risks increasing weekly, 1) and 3) are now
| necessities.
