Neither my original message nor your original message triggered the
warning so the virus appears to pass itself along in copied messages.
Further, from what I've been able to determine, it hides itself in HTML
formatting. Bob's original message was HTML rather than plain text. When
I replied to it, my OE used the original HTML formatting and the virus
was able to pass itself along. The replies which I received which also
had the virus were in HTML format.
I wish OE had an option which forces replies to HTML formatted messages
into Plain Text but I haven't found one.
