<DIV>Thanks for taking the time to explore this. I know exactly where you are
because I'm in a similar position - an open mind but a lack of time priority to
become deeply immersed in astrology studies. I've also found over the years that
simple, uncomplicated techniques work best for me.</DIV>

<DIV>Interesting cluster in lower left of chart #1 at moon/mars-n and 3
hits on mars-y in upper right. Not sure I see much on chart #2. What
conclusions do you feel can be reached from viewing the charts?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Am also curious - were the lines shown applied according to some general
rules or were they selected from a larger universe of lines based on fit to
price action?</DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>First, let me say I have not been an astro buff up to
this point. The complexity and learning curve were too far out for me.
Norman's posts have been intriguing, but beyond me to come up to speed
to understand since I could not see beyond the moon. Admittedly I
am a software junkie and will try most anything once or twice or three
times. The chart on this post and the next post are enticing enough to
raise an eyebrow. I have been a fan of Krausz Fibonacci Trader and when
I upgraded to 3.08 I saw a link to the Quick Harmonic Trader. That's for
me, something quick. Course Norman will say "got to learn astrology
first". Not me, am too impatient to draw some lines on the chart.
This QHT comes with a built in ephemris that is easy to use, its there and
Norman said it was important. You can download the excellent free manual
and get a 30 day free trial for the stand alone QHT, <A
href="http://www.fibonaccitrader.com">http://www.fibonaccitrader.com</A> or <A
href="http://www.marketdetective.com">http://www.marketdetective.com</A> or <A
href="http://www.galacticinvestor.com">http://www.galacticinvestor.com</A>
The manual is a great bargain if you want to find out what some of the
terminology means, like Aspects, Harmonics, Opposition, Trine, Square.
This stuff is all greek to me, but the pictures reminded me of geometry
classes in highschool and brought back some nostalgic memories of my
facination with planets when I was a cub scout. Each cub in my pack
had to give a presentation at a pack meeting. We each held a piece of
cardboard with a planet painted on the front and a descriptive paragraph
taped to the back. My planet was Mars. Thus the first chart I made
with the QHT was with Mars conjunct Moon True North Node. "Mirror" lines
can be plotted for bear markets by changing one parameter from "N" to
"Y". The HMirror chart on the following post has to do with Aspects and
Harmonics, whatever those are, the software has buttons to push to plot the
Harmonics and the Harmonic Mirrors from one to four. Since the INDU has
been below its 50 day MA and now has several closes below its 200 day MA I
thought it might be intersting to see what the first Harmonic Mirror reflects
on the current trend of the OEX since its the options I am really interested
in.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>How about one more look at the current state of affairs using
the first Harmonic mode or bullish view now that price is about to break out of
the bearish harmonic mirror. Recently Saturn and Jupiter price lines
have been in a depression as the OEX went into consolidation/correction, thus
one reason for looking at the 1st harmonic mirror on the preivous post.
Jupiter provided support numerous times and now both Jupiter and Saturn are in
uptrends in the first harmonic which is bullish. On 2/22 there is a
crossing of Venus over Neptune, the goddess of love and the god of the
sea. Perhaps it means the love of the bigger wave(tend) will continue, or
for skeptics, your profits will be washed away in a tidal wave. Then
on 3/1(payday) Mercury goes retrograde across the Sun/Earth followed
by Venus crossing over Saturn on 3/3. </FONT></DIV>

have ruled during an age of happiness and virtue. Now, if the traditional
technicals come out of their funk we will have synchronicity between the
astrological and the tried and true technicals, which is doubly
bullish.</FONT></DIV>
