NW: This is a common fallacy among those not familiar with Astrology.
Yes, Vedic or Indian Astrology uses what is called a Sidereal system, i.e.
based on the actual constellations which precess 1 degree/72 years.
Western Astrology uses Tropical which is not based on the actual
constellations but on the vernal equinox and harmonics. Western Astrologers
are aware of the precession of the equinox, but it doesn't impact the
Tropical
system except on a very long term basis, which is also taken into account

NW: It's the politically correct thing to say. Any mention of Astrology
should be
promptly followed by a disclaimer. <G>

NW: He was partially correct. The trick is knowing which part. Some
