Wall Street seems to be essentially looking at the bad news at the
moment. Good earnings give rapidly way to profit taking and bad earnings
occasion shootings... What is interesting is that some of the higher
profile companies are tempering expectations for Q1. Does this mean they
see less dynamic business ahead? In that case we might well be on our
way to a 3% growth rythm so desired by the Fed. That would mean no more
inflation jitters ahead?

In any event, Tbonds have broken out of the Wedge at the lows, and start
acting as if the whole 16 month bear is over. Let's see how our first
correction from the current upmove will unfold. It is possible we will
put in what will be a wave 2 from which we will have a multimonth
advance to 9600-9700 initially and probably higher later.

One thing is certain: We cannot have both profit jitters due to slowing
business and rate jitters due to an overheating economy...

Best to all
