I run NT so I don't have any resource limitations, however SC (same
charting engine as TS) has internal limitations on the number of charts
in a workspace. As a futures trader, I organized and named my workspaces
by category and commodity:
Invest: Funds-Bond
Invest: Funds-Equity Index
....
Trade: Grains-Corn
Trade: Grains-Soybeans
Trade: Grains-Wheat
Trade: Forest-Lumber
...
History: Equities
History: Financials
The only workspaces which consistently maxed out were for history where
I had 8-10 charts in each workspace.
For trading, which I use most heavily, each workspace was setup for dual
monitor with monthly perp and weekly perp on the right and daily perp
and daily front on the left. I've since switched to AGet, however I've
carried the same organization into AGet and it works very nicely. Big
difference with AGet is that I have folders for each category e.g.
Grains and pages for each commodity. Once I open a folder, I can easily
rotate through the pages in the folder.
