This is one of the most interesting and informative threads on this list I
have ever seen, though perhaps not in the most obvious way. It is hilarious
to sit back and watch a bunch of guru's bicker over who knows whom better,
that "whom" being another dead guru, and which guy has REALLY now figured
it all out.

I submit that this is another one of the myriad reasons 90% of people who
attempt to trade fail; there is a HUGE industry that is as old as the
markets themselves that manage to take a few simple concepts and repackage
them into a byzantine indecipherable bunch of gobbledegook.

The philosopher Ayn Rand might beg to differ on this point, though I never
knew her and don't personally know anyone who did. However it has been my
personal experience that as soon as someone I come in contact with starts
telling me how unimportant money is to them, to immediately reach into my
pants, pull out my wallet, wrap both hands very tightly around same, and
turn and run as fast as I can in the other direction.
