Anyone having any idea why out of 23.5 millions shares total, with a
float of 17.8 million shares, there is a short position of 8.8 million
shares or half outstanding?
Rambus licenses the Rambus technology which will be a soft speeding up
significantly memory transfers of the new coppermine chips which will be
shipped by Intel next year. It has licensing agreements with 8 of the 10
biggest chip makers, and works also in other chip sectors, including
mobile telecom. It all looks appealing, so anyone having a clue what is
motivating so many shorts? I havent seen that on other tech stocks...
Cheers
