<DIV>Someone asked about Wolfe Waves recently, and I did not recall seeing the
responses.&nbsp; Does anyone trade this pattern and do you find it often and is
it an accurate pattern to trade.&nbsp; I was looking at the S&amp;P 500 on the
daily and weekly charts and it appears to have a set-up which if correct
projects significantly higher prices.&nbsp; Am I looking at this pattern
correctly? I would appreciate any input regarding this pattern.</DIV>

The attached chart shows VIX's level relative to its value at the beginning of the
year, for 1999. Note: the lines on the x-axis are _not_ the beginnings of each
month, due to some limitations in the charting package I used. As you can
see, the trend has been down, which is consistent with a rising market.
The recent high for VIX was on 10/15/99 at a level of 123. The recent low
was on 7/16/99 at a level of 71, where 100 was the value of VIX at the close
of the first day in 1999 (25.7).
