Robert, tell Rich to turn and run away from that software as fast as he
can!!!!!!!!!!! It is a total rip-off!!!!! The way they get
huge backtested returns is that they curve-fit everything. For example,
they will go back and see which 5 stocks have had the best 10 year performance
and then come up with a switching model between these stocks. I bet
they never heard of out-of-sample testing. How do I know this?
My boss shelled out $10,000 for some of their various software programs
(they offer more than just Indigo) and I was in charge of validating the
advertisements claims-----that's when I realized everything had been curve-fitted.
Honestly, I can't believe they are still in business.

Anyone have actual experience with Indigo and customer support? This

Indigo software? I spent about a half hour on the phone with one

the indicators can be tweaked and combined as well. Some of the back
tested results were absolutely staggering!!

The problem is in the fact that they sell this package

I would like to hear you thoughts on this system as well
as I would encourage you to go through the demo to see how this compares
to what you have seen throughout the years. It's probably not suited
to your trading as it is not RT and does not trade indexes, but could possibly
be fooled I would guess.

Br - I need to get a system that is easy to use and produces
buy/sell signals much like the Indigo program but I have a very hard time
in plunking down $3k+ without a guarantee. They don't sound like
they will budge here either. Please help dude and let me know you
thoughts on this one. Thanks much in advance.

Good Morning
I had the oppertunity of testing it in real time for 4 weeks
the salesman who bug me for weeks . fax me 8am est the whole report
DAILY!!
i used it on cmgi aol pcln and other hi fliers
the problem is that you get wip saw MANY times
and in the 4 weeks i netted aprox 2.5%
but there was at least 125 trades on 6 stocks
so after deducting comm and slippage i broke even
also
they use the internet index close oe the nasdaq close for DETERNENNIG
if you should stay long or short
so 350-4pm est
you sit in front of the machine and hope your alarms do not go off
because if they do
then you bave to close 6 of your position in 2 minutes to 4 pm
this is too much for too little
when the mkt is in a trading range you get killed
regards
Ben
