Congratulations on a great answer. I have a Mac so I
can not appreciate all of the problems that PC users
run into. I have a friend who switched from a PC to a
Mac and he said he will never go back. He is a
paralegal and uses a PC 6-8 hours a day. He is forced
to use a PC because most all businesses use PC's.
He is continually complaining about different problems
that he encounters with the PC. Maybe if Mac had
obtained a larger share of the market, MSFT would have
had an ever better product. Gates had admitted that
computers are not easy to use. I wonder why?
Bringing out an improved version every two years is almost
a guaranty of future profits, especially since you
have the only product. Who would not like to have
a business like that. Can anyone name any other
business out there that has that advantage? If we had
a competitive market I think we all know that computers
would be a lot easier to use. If we had one petroleum
corporation, what would the price of gas be? You do
not have to be a Philadelphia lawyer to see that MSFT
has a monopoly. Monopolies control prices and
distribution and everything else that goes with them.
I fail
to comprehend how anyone can disagree with the
governments ruling. If anything it was too long in
coming.
