Both DTN and BMI require annual contracts which automatically renew on
annual basis unless you notify them at least a month in advance. I'm not
sure that such automatic renewals without notice will stand up under
scrutiny of state consumer officials so you might explore that avenue. When
I signed up with DTN, I wrote and attached an addendum to my agreement which
covered my tail and gave me an out when first the satellite went out and
then my local cable company dropped the DTN channel. Due to the loss of
Galaxy 5 and other problems I had extensive contact with customer service
and found them excellent.

Frankly, unless needs are unique, I would have a good hard look at one of
the internet based services available on a month to month basis - most
traders belly up before their first annual contract has run its course. I
would start with quote.com's QCharts.
