The solar eclipse of August, 1999, marks the end of an
insane century.
Like all eclipses, it is only one astronomical event
among many, not the most important one, yet
significant nonetheless. From the standpoint of the
earth, the Moon seems to hide the Sun, producing a
momentary darkness. This, of course, symbolizes the
ever-present potentiality of matter to eclipse Spirit,
of conditional and ephemeral appearances to hide what
is constant, of evil's tempting power to distract
from the Good.
So even though the meaning of the eclipse be itself
negative, it is important to remember that good things
are still going on, that the Light is actually the
truth in this Universe, and that the power of darkness
to
hide the Light is, in fact, merely momentary, not to
be respected.
But as to the eclipse itself --- Nostradamus took
special note of this eclipse, yet he did not describe
it
literally. Perhaps he simply could not believe what he
saw. Neither could I believe it when I first saw it.
But many years have gone by since I first calculated
this chart, and the world is proving what was then
only an unbelievable and absurd vision.
Looking at the chart in the heliocentric galactic
zodiac, the picture is of a depravity and weakness
never
before known to mankind. Reading the chart literally
and simply, it says this:
Men will become giggling, effeminate imbeciles.
They will think that it is normal to be sarcastic and
bitchy.
Women will be arrogant, hateful dikes.
Unconsciously, they will channel the "mean old witch"
archetype which ever hides within the human mind.
Without knowing it, they will completely reverse
the idea of beauty, and will convince everyone
that ugliness is beautiful, and vice versa.
Children will rule themselves and their elders
with a mean-minded pomposity. They will
occassionally kill their teachers. Ignorance will
be applauded, while wisdom will be despised.
Art will degenerate into something gross,
profane, and unrecognizable. Demonic imagery will
become acceptable and normal.
Egotism will replace intelligence, insolence will
supplant modesty, and the lowest classes of
humanity will attempt to rule over their
superiors. They will call this, "democracy."
All classes of humanity will participate in the
degradation of love. Sanctity, chastity, romantic
idealism --- these will be spat upon, while an
orgiastic lewdness will demonstrate itself proudly for
all
to see.
This total solar eclipse is exact on August 11, 1999,
at 10:51 UT. Although exact at this moment, its effect
extends for many years before and after this sudden
darkening of the light.
Mankind is generally arrogant, insistent on continuing
his stupidity. And thus does he constantly crash
down into war, insanity, and despair. This time, the
effect is psychological, ruinous to the soul.
Nostradamus predicted war, but I predict something
worse --- the living degradation of mankind.
For war may only kill the body, while nobility of
spirit remains unharmed. But when the soul itself
chooses
to be hideous? That is the cause for real and enduring
sorrow.
Considering the majority of mankind, this result is
inescapable. Already eclipsing the light of their own
virtue, they will find it easy to join in the general
eclipsing activities. They will enjoy the further
darkening, even as they love to lose what little
intelligence they have while getting drunk.
Witnessing this sad eclipse, I can only say, as so
many before me have said...
Repent, O man, and bend the knee. Be worthy of
your origin and destination.
But any creative individual can escape and transcend
the common fate, by noticing what is going on, and
choosing the light once again. Even during this
twilight of the soul, high stars still shine, as they
suggest
what is starlike within.
For a new and bright era is beginning at about the
same time. In late August, 1999, a twelve-year cycle
of
light will commence, a time devoted to the virtues and
good qualities of Libra. This new phase will bring
forth humanity's long-postponed desire for love, for
polite relationships, for beauty in everyday life.
As always, both good and evil are offered. Which one
will you choose?
