Sorry to say, it was also a big waste.  Most 'courses' utilize some vendors
proprietary software (which you can conveniently buy for $4 grand), then
apply some of what you see in the class.  I've been trading long enough
that I've seem nearly all of the systems and gadgets out there -- most
aren't worth the packaging they come in.  The speakers are not paid (last I
knew) so they are there to sell systems to recoup their costs.  Futures
West was a better run event, and was a lot less money that the great
disappointment OmegaWorld99.

If you are new to trading, want to meet people, and take in some sales
pitches, may be worth it to you.
