It appears that I have been summarily castigated for my post. In
response to some. If you trade stocks and I state on this forum that,
based upon my system, I see XYZ going from 37 to 56. If you
traded stocks, wouldn't you even look at XYZ and see if your system said
the same thing or at least said that it might rally? I haven't traded
the S&P in a while, but when he made his prediction I went to my charts
and looked to see if there was anything there to justify his prediction.
I still have upside targets in the 1400s, 1500s, 1600s and 1700s.
The best count that I can get to the downside, at this time, is 1290.
Do I believe that the Sep S&P is due for a fall? Yes. Until
my up legs are voided I have no reason to believe that there is a major
drop coming at this time. Trade the downside, yes. Be committed
to a target of 400, no. Will I post a chart? No. All my charts are
on a dedicated machine, and I am not computer literate enough to transfer
them to this machine and send them. Will I tell you how I arrived
at the numbers I posted? No. The method is proprietary. Will I help someone
who is having trouble? Yes. Will I exchange ideas? Yes. If he wants
to remain a man of mystery, that is his business. If you have questions
about trading, ask them, and someone who is knowledgeable will answer your
question. If I have the answer, it could be me. There are others who have
posted imminent warnings of explosions to the upside, and others who have
posted about the end of the world. The only thing we know for sure
is that both infinity and 0 are out of the question. Have a good week.
Ira.
