<<presumption of guilt,>>
If you saw 10 horses in a row, would you be expecting to see a zebra?
<<he doesn't need me to defend him.>>
Then don't. We would like to hear constructive comments and ideas, not
why the forum is "elite". The user group is YOU. We make this what it
is, and no one else. Blaming others in the group for our or someone's
problems is just projection. Contributing something of interest to
ourselves, (which is usually of interest to some others) can help to
build up the group and make it better. If we don't want to make it
better, then it certainly won't become so.
<<sometimes it seems oppressive as heck and
sure chokes the breath out of those who would like to participate, but
see
the result of those who try to.>>
Joanie: I don't see oppression. We can write what we want. If someone
criticises, so be it. So what! In your 27 years of business
experience, you know that the customer is always right. In this user
group, the group is the customer. If a particular post arouses the
customers, it does not mean the poster is wrong or stupid or, heaven
forbid, an advertiser. It only means you can't please all the people
all the time. But if a post is of value to one person that reads it,
then it is of value. If the post is of no value to anyone except the
poster, then it is not worthwhile posting. Maybe that should be the
moto of the group.
Take care,
Don
