in MetaStock language.&nbsp; If anyone can help or refer me to a site or book, I 
would appreciate it.</DIV>

<DIV>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The problem is this:</DIV>

<DIV>The formula for a pivot is&nbsp;&nbsp;  (H yesterday + L yesterday + C 
yesterday + O today) / 4</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I can easily write this to plot on a 
daily chart, but it is of most use on an inter-day chart (5 min. etc.) where it 
would be a straight line drawn across the chart.&nbsp; Naturally I can just draw 
it with the drawing tool, but this method does not allow back testing or 
generating signals.</DIV>

Jim,

Do you know if DTN's feed use two-way communication or does it throw its
data at the computer similar to BMI's feed?
