When I was trading the night bonds on globex, I asked what the size was
after I got the market. I was told, "it says 1x1 but you could probably
do 1000 contracts on those numbers". That surprised me. I didn't
think the markets were that large after our trading floors were closed.
Just goes to show there are large traders and banks working the numbers
24 hours a day. Ira

Regarding the bond market size after-hours, not to
nit-pick, but they are traded on the CBOT's Project A, not globex (Merc.).
They should always be able to give you the real size bid and offer as this info
can be important. Anyone should be able to get that from the terminal
operator. Also, you might want to watch the ten year note trade as the
bonds often trade off of that more active market at some times (especially when
London is open...).

I'd like to hear your ideas, Trevor! I'm backing off multiple intraday
trades in favor of more position trading right now, but that's my own energy
level and not being able to handle the intensity. But I still watch LevelII
and will take/make the trade when it happens. So bring on the discussion!
Linda
