Thanks to the many who replied with suggestions and comments - I was not the
only one have trouble with AtomTime. I found a freeware utility called
Dimension4 at http://www.thinkman.com/~thinkman/ which is much better and
more configurable than AtomTime. I recommend it to those who need their
system clock synchronized for trading once per day or at some more frequent
interval. The setup includes about a dozen sources which are user
selectable. I ran both this morning: Dimension4 got the time from its
default US Naval Observatory, set the clock, and exited while AtomTime was
still unable to connect with its default time server.
