The markets

I have read items in this group about inflation, deflation, interest
rates, world wide money problems and their effects on the world and the
nation. All the talk in the world is not going to move the markets.
Trying to guess what effect this or that will have is an exercise in
futility. It is great to exercise the mind, but that is still not going
to change the direction of the markets. At this point I have no
indication that the market will turn into a bear. The March SnP can
retrace to between 1060 and 1080 and still not break the up trend. It
doesn't make any difference that it rallies on little volume, if the
price goes up and you are short, you will lose money. Volume will not
make you, or lose you any money. The only thing that counts is the
price. That is the only thing that adds or subtracts from your account
balance. I see the head and shoulders top. That is one of the most
unreliable formations of the bunch. I am no genius, but I did learn one
thing a long time ago. You can get hurt very badly when standing in
front of a high speed train and if the light at the end of the tunnel is
a train coming your way, run like h-- for the other end of the tunnel.
Not really earth shattering or new, but good to remember. Have a good
day trading. Ira
