I am unclear as to how a question about Rydex and Profunds allowed you to
bring Greg Meadors and Mastertimer/Smartimer into the reply. What value is
Greg Meadors record from 4 years ago anyway? Do you have a business
relationship with them?

In any case, I had some interest in what was being promoted at this site.
In looking at the site, a large part of their performance record is based on
hypothetical results. I asked for specific, current performance information
such as what would be the value of $1000 invested on Jan 1, 1998. I
communicating with a person named Elton Borton and he said he is the actual
trader for their managed funds. I doubt that Greg Meadors has anything to
do with the day-to-day operations. I was never able to get the information
but was instead given one excuse after another or asked for information that
I had previously provided. He kept asking for my snail mail address even
though they have this on file since they send me information every so often.
I didn't want their standard packet of information since I already had that
and it did not answer my questions. Elton seemed incapable of understanding
this. Anyway, here's the ending excerpt from the emails we were sending
back and froth. My original request for information began on Sept. 27th, a
little over a month earlier.

This last message from me was posted on Oct. 30th.

Still busy <g>? Or simply unable to provide standard performance
information? Don't bother yourself anymore. Given your continued excuses
and lack of professionalism, there is essentially zero chance that I will
give you any of my money or have anything to do with your firm in the
future. I do intend to post this information online so that others are
aware and warned.
