Jim,
Believe it or not the best place for advice is the MS tech service dept.
They are helpful and will stay on the phone with you until the problem is
solved. I had one tech on the phone for 1 1/2 hours trying to figure out why
the IE4 upgrade botched up my machine. You can also try the MS
troubleshooting section at their web site - it is suprisingly thorough. Make
no mistake, I am no fan of MS and reguarly curse at Bill Gates and his
unstable platform but its all we got!
