I have not had too much luck trying to come up with a definitive way to day
trade the
spoos using volume to confirm price action. Sometimes you will see key
reversal bars on volume spikes that suggest the reversal correctly and
occasionally you will get a range contraction bar at the end of a leg that has
higher than normal or somewhat spikey volume( ie number of trades ) and this
will indeed workout and predict a turn around. However in spite of these
observations that ocassionally pan out i have not found them to be really
reliable way to enter trades .
