If the problem is with Globex, or in the case of last week Globex2, it does
not matter which front-end interface you are using.

Globex did have some problems this morning about that time and orders were
being rejected everywhere.

The e-mini S&P is a very good contract, but this kind of volatility creates
system havoc all over. I have suggested elsewhere that people should trade
the Dow futures during this time because of the system problems with Globex2
and the effects of volatility on the original Globex system.

There are several brokerages who have Electronic Clerk terminals in the Dow
futures, including mine. You don't get the 3 second fills like the E-mini,
but you don't get the same system problems either.

Regards,

John J. Lothian
