Rick ,

Very interested to read your em on ADX/ DMI. I have just bought Supercharts
and am trying to develop a system and have settled on ADX/DMI as an
interesting area to start. I am trying a system using the interaction between
DMI+ and DMI - as a leading indicator. Where (DMI+)- (DMI-)>0 is a bullish
move and the reverse is a bearish one. ADX is directionally neutral and, it
appears to me will only help to confirm the strength of a trend rather than
indicate its diection. I am trying it out on some historical data in the
Soyabean market with a max of 5 contracts and a stop of $1000 on the total
position. The best I have managed so far is a loss of $1100 over five months
or so!! I would welcome any comments from other RT'ers on the use of ADX/DMI

Regards

Bob Jones
