STOCKS - Finding Movers

Realtraders,

Friday was a very interesting day on Wall St. To my surprise, the market
was somehow able to rally from a 280 point loss in the Dow to down only 78
points. In addition, for those who follow the S&P futures (SPU8), you will
have noticed that the recent lows were actually broken today and somehow
buyers still came in and bought the market, especially going into a very
uncertain weekend....surprise, surprise.

Anyhow, with the weekend still ahead of us and unsure of what Sunday
Night or Monday may bring, I think it is best to prepare for potential
STOCKS that are likely to move to the upside in the event the rally
continues. One of my favorite techniques is to find stock that were down
big during the day but rallied substantially off those lows by the close of
trading. My method of scanning for such stocks is manual, I scan my DBC
Signal portfolio in which I have approximately 1200 stocks listed on it and
compare the low verse the closing bid (these two columns are next to each
other and thus makes the scanning process a little faster, approximately 30
minute to scan all).

Anyhow, I wish I had a better means of finding such stocks but that is
why I am writing this post to this forum. I am hoping that some of you may
have a better method of scanning and are willing to share some of Friday's
movers before Monday.

I have listed below a lot of the movers that I found that you may want to
consider:

GTW
TLAB
INTC
PNU
PSFT
TRV
ADVS
WAG
BMY
SGP
JNJ
SAI
IBM
DE
XYLN
LU
CA
CMB
KO
TECD
AMZN
ALTR
CPB
ABS
VISX
SEPR
KNDL
JBHT

Finally, I suggest that further analysis be conducted on these stocks
before you blindly buy any of them. I know I will be looking at 1 year
charts on each one of these and try to find the ones that have the 'more
favorable' technical patterns i.e. those that are bouncing off their 200
day ma, or trendlines, or other support levels etc. Further, before I buy
anything, I want to make sure that Monday looks like it will be an up day .
Lastly, I don't plan on holding these possible new stock positions too
long, maybe a couple of days to start but will be looking to realize some
quick profits in these uncertain times.

Food for thought,
John Boggio
