This list has been very quiet lately, how ever I have seen the expertise that
resides on this list, I would like to lean on that expertise for help.
I have a mathematical/indicator challenge?
I have gone to using "TicK" charts instead of minute charts .... gives me an
"other" view of what's going on .... now my challenge ... I use a MACD with
the
following inputs in TS - 8.3896, 17.5185, 9.0503 .
When I use a "minute" chart I am looking at a 5 minute chart and will then plot
Data 2 as a hidden 10 minute chart and then "assign" the MACD on the 10 minute
data below
the 5 minute chart ... this gives me a 2 X higher time frame " indication."
When I go and do this in a tick chart, lets say a 13 tick chart I can't underlay
a
26 tick chart as hidden data two and plot the MACD on the 26 tick chart because
TS
doesn't allow that function (i.e. multiple time frame tick charts)
Since the MACD uses a derivative of Moving averages how can I get
the MACD inputs on a 13 tick chart to represent a 26 tick chart (a 2 times
higher
time frame) ?
Just doubling the MACD inputs does not work.
I am not very formula / Easy language friendly .....
