"Sure Thing Option Trading" is a vary basic book on options. It
was one of the first books on the subject I ever read. While it is a good
starting point for beginners, it tends to overly simplify a very complex
subject, giving the reader the impression that "there is nothing to this
trading stuff".
He does give some excellent advice though:
Start slowly
Understand declining time value
Be Flexible
Use technical analysis
Specialize in one or two strategies
Pay attention to commissions
LIMIT LOSSES
Trade both sides of the market.....and more
The novice option trader should read this book and then follow it
immediately with something with a lot more detail such as "Options as a
Strategic Investment" by Lawrence G. McMillan.
Good luck and good trading,
Ray Raffurty
P.S. I haven't read "Profitable Day Trading with Precision" yet, but based
on your recordation will check it out. Thanks.
