There are literally thousands of trading software products and at least a dozen
major products. You probably need to start by making a list of what you intend to
accomplish with the software and what types of trading techniques are important
to you. For example, if you've been trading with handdrawn charts, you may want
software which is strong in drawing tools (manual or automated) rather than one
which provides 300 of the most popular indicators. Other important
considerations may include real-time and/or end-of-day, trading systems
development language, etc. Once you've identified your objectives, traders here
may be able to offer some concrete suggestions.
