I think software is as much an individual choice as is
a trading style/plan. Only you can decide what feels
right to you.
Factors to consider
Realtime or End of day ?
System testing capabilities ?
Price ?
Most popular EOD packages would probably
be Metastock and Supercharts.
You can probably get a demo or try them for 30 days
and see which you prefer.
If you are familiar with spreadsheets then Wavewise
may be a good choice and is well priced

If you prefer Gann / fib / Elliott type of analysis
then you could consider Adv gET or Dynamic Trader
A tough decision that only you can make
I have probably tried or owned most of these in
my 12 years trading and now use Wavewise
and Dynamic Trader for all my analysis
