As a note to all who followed the FEAR postings about a year ago,
this methodology, along with the logic will be in the August issue of
Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodites magazine, due out the
middle of this month.
For newer participants on the list, the FEAR protocol was an attempt
to define fear in mathematical terms. Many RT'ers expressed interest in
the underlying logic which was not public at the time of the original
postings. I'm just giving everyone a "heads-up" in letting them know
that the logic and code will be available in TASC. The article is
titled: "From Terms to Technical Tools", and will be under "System
Design".
For those that don't subscribe to TASC, keep an eye out on the OMEGA
web site, as the code for most of these articles is usually posted
to their ELA download area within a few months of an article being
published. for those who are using MetaStock, SystemWriter or some
other analysis and charting software, code should be available in the
"Trader's Tips" section of TASC magazine, or off the TASC website.
This info should be of interest to you "fear" junkies out there. :)
