GM and Dean,
I don't use astrology or astronomy directly in my trading, but
empirical evidence of this discipline coinciding with the
psychological peaks and valleys of traders (which I do trade)
is very interesting. I believe there is something there. I do use
certain aspects of Circadian rhythms, which are also similar in nature.
As anything, you have "real talent" and "flim-flammers". I define
real talent as some predictions of market action BEFORE it happened.
Ask her if her trading record is hypthetical or real. if hypothetical,
does she have proof of documented calls before they happened? How
about the BAD calls. How about PRACTICAL trading application? etc.
IS SHE A TRADER, OR JUST AN ANALYST? This is important, because they
ARE NOT the same thing. :)
Guys like Norman Winski or Arch Crawford are examples of people that
provided some predictions that Have been correct. More importantly, they
have some records showing results, and TRADE the stuff themselves.
