Since SIGNAL is now descretionary it did not trade today due to market action overcompensating its sell direction.

TRENDICATER did not trade today because the market did not reach its strike price to sell at 1119.03.It was 200 points off and 1117.20 would have net over $2000.

The SIGNAL for 5/19/98 is 1109.25.Day market opens above 1109.25 by 100 points or less, buy 1 contract.Day market opens below 1109.25 by 100 points or less, sell 1 contract.Set profit and stop loss to your comfort level.

The TRENDICATER for 5/19/98 is 1113.24.Sell 1 contract at 1113.24 plus or minus 0.5 if price struck.Stop loss 800 points from point of entry.

These changes in back testing evened out performance. The goal is a valid end of day system. For example, even though the last 20 days would have been profitable, without TRENDICATER all trades would have been taken for a loss of $7100 last week. With TRENDICATER only 3 of 5 trades would have been taken for a win of $4250.

Longer term back testing seems to colloberate these data and this pattern.

That's it for now,
