(-----)...I just wrote you....OK.. (-----), I have the Book, bought it in 1996
practised every day for about a year, manually updating and working out the
counts he gave some in his book. The colours are used as you know to give you a
marker. You count bars forward or back for your point locations. Colours???
Wilder or his office staff gave me the colour code. No secret. They like
everyone to use the same colours so it easier to help in the event you have
problems( phone calls)
If you were working by yourself. It wouldn't matter what colours you use (should
I quote the page where he writes this??) what is important is the order and
rotation of colours ...OK...the point count- you either use his or by using swing
type methods you begin to see them your self. Wilder's are based on (----) years
back data. I build my own data parameters 3 years of data and plot my own count.
With time you get a feel for the cycle. Yes, if you are doing this it helps to
borrow from Wilder, Soybeans 12 points ( my favourite ), gold 11 points, Oil 7
points..... come on its been a few years....Yeah, the Soy count worked on all the
grains. I didn't follow all the markets.....I'm not selling. I'm a
learner...student... still researching. But the school 'Hard Knocks' you test
your ideas with real money ...yours, or in this case mine.
Hmmm...this is a little more than I wanted to do this evening. I have blanked out
your name and posted to the list. I'm sure more people have a curiosity about
this and in keeping with my open disclosure I'll post. Thanks for the inquiry.
