Hey Tony,
Cool off!! Why stress out? Star Gazin Norman Winski
has been posting here for a few years. Why consider his post w/ link
as spam? After all the link goes to a
commercial site that names a list of fee based services
that aren't worth the time to follow... Normans' service is one of
the most expensive, and he didn't even make the top three. And the
number one was only up a little over 100%. Norman did the neophite
trader a huge favor. He alerted the RT list to a site that shows who
all the top marketing traders' services are
and the service proves they aren't worth spending money on.
1)Make up your mind if you want to make money or trade.
2)Buddy up to a broker at several commodity firms.
3)Get them to surf their computer systems and find the "top ten"
traders (highest roi over five to ten year period).
4)Offer to pay a higher than average commission per trade to mirror
"mystery traders". (why should they give you free money?).
5)If you can't find any willing brokers, the IRS has
records of each trade made by traders who file this info based on the
1099 the "firm" must report to the IRS. (It has always erked me to
have to show my accountant and the IRS each trade I made during the
year.
6)If you have to "surf" 1099s for trading info, then you will have to
"sleuth" the logic behind the trades.
This is often very difficult. Not many know of the types that run two
or three grand into several hundred thousand (politicians...wifes...
remember?).
In my experience most people want to "trade". It is the action. They
haven't made a written or firm commitment as to whether they want to
accumulate wealth thru the markets. Put that $2,500 copy of software
in the dumpster, and let me have $100 to win on the "1" horse!!
Realistically,
Gary
