<!-------------------------INTRO TEXT ---------------------------------->
<i>"Internet Trader . . . offers much of the charting sophistication of technical
analysis products such as Window on Wall Street, in addition to free historical
security pricing data. Internet Trader allows users to employ most of the
popular custom trading indicators, including Bollinger Bands, moving
averages, and Gann angles. It also lets users chart security prices
</i>throughout the day<i>, whereas most of the fee-based technical analysis
products require waiting until the end of the trading day to update prices."</i>
&#151;PC Magazine
<P>
<i>"You get a charting package and what's awesome is they give you data and news
for free (delayed 15 minutes). A must download!!"</i>
&#151;Technical Analysis
<P>
Internet Trader is a complete financial analysis tool (including an online stock quote service)
 for the serious investor.
Developed for one of the world's largest financial services corporations,
it was designed by experts in the finance industry to make the most profitable use
of market data and to leverage Internet
technology. Regardless of whether your
approach to analyzing market conditions is technical or fundamental, you
will find Internet Trader useful both for quick reviews of market
conditions and for in-depth analysis of company-specific data.
<P>
For some people, though, the best part about Internet Trader is that Kanisa
Inc. gives it away for free! Even the feed of market quotes and news is free.

<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT><B>WHY DOES KANISA GIVE INTERNET TRADER AWAY FOR FREE?</FONT></B>
<P>
<!-----------------------------WHY FREE? TEXT----------------------------->
We give away our Internet Trader software as an example of a knowledge-enabled
application. It shows how we apply knowledge management capabilities
to existing data, in this case a data feed of stock market quotes. Internet
Trader uses realtime analytics, charts, and graphs to deal with massive amounts of
fast-changing business data, extracting relevant information and making it understandable at
a glance.
<P>
The behind-the-scenes technology is just as important. Internet Trader
presents custom-tailored realtime information using Internet push technology based upon user
profiles. Every Internet Trader user sees a different view of his or her own
unique portfolio, so Internet Trader also shows how our Live Data Server
can distribute customized information to thousands of people.
<P>
In short, Internet Trader gives you a preview of a few of our knowledge
management techniques.

<!---------------------HOW IT KNOWLEDGE-ENABLES TEXT-------------------->
Internet Trader provides tools to track your current portfolio
(or several different portfolios), and to set up
trial portfolios based on specific investment theories. It also
scans current market conditions and finds stocks that
meet your technical specifications. It includes many other features
and functions to make you a knowledgeable investor.
<P>
"What features are those?" you ask. Gee, funny you should ask. We just happen to have a list of the most important ones right here:

trial portfolios based on specific portfolio theories. Here you can enter and track positions from straightforward
buys to short sales. This page tracks
all your open and closed positions in a separate folder for easy reviewing,
and provides a complete list of transactions. A summary page gives you easy

A <b>Composite Page</b> shows information on up to 30 stocks per portfolio
with up to four portfolios available per composite page. A Composite Page
also shows a ticker tape, plus your
choice of a daily chart, a minute chart, a tick chart, and/or a Times and
Sales Page.
<P>
Composite Pages let you quickly switch between key
components of Internet Trader. This is the most versatile
display in Internet Trader. It displays multiple
windows containing your preferred charts or Internet Trader pages. Doubleclick
on any window to see a full-screen view. You can use all features
on each page without
switching between windows, so you can make up-to-the-minute
changes while still watching the market.
<P>
The ticker window on this page
gives you alerts. You can set both visual and audio
alerts that let you know when a stock's price rises or falls past
your target point. Audio alerts use your system's speaker, so no
expensive sound card is needed. Visual alerts display on your
ticker window as they occur. <b>The delayed version of Internet Trader
shows prices delayed 15 to 20 minutes.</b>

<!---------------------------KEY ADVANTAGES TEXT------------------------>
<BLOCKQUOTE>
<b>1. No complex connections to hook up</b>
<P>
<ul>
Internet Trader receives quotes from Kanisa Inc. via the
Internet. This means you don't have to hassle with satellite gizmos, cable doodads,
FM receivers, or any other complicated delivery dingus. The fact that you
are reading this document over the Internet means you already have the
connection you need.
</ul>
<P>
<b>2. No data collection hassles</b>
<P>
<ul>
One of the largest problems associated with using a normal quote feed is
that you don't have historical data. For example, when your broker
calls with a tip about Plantains International, you can chart Plantains
with your current software and quote feed, but only from
that day forward. You have no idea what it was doing yesterday or last
week. Internet Trader puts full histories on more than 70,000 instruments
and indices at your command.
</ul>
<P>
<b>3. Easy to Use</b>
<P>
<ul>
Kanisa Inc. has years of experience designing
trading software. Internet Trader takes little time to learn
and is easy to use.
</ul>
<P>
<b>4. Easy on your budget</b>
<P>
<ul>
<I>Internet Trader is free and the quote feed is free</I>. Beat that!</ul>

Norm is a long-term participant on RT and is not a spammer. We may not all
agree with Norm's astrological focus but that's life. Tony, you would have
done better to take your complaint to the administrators rather than the
polluting the whole list with your accusation. One of the problems with the
net is the ability for anyone to post anything, whether true or not.
Long-term net users have learned to save their post for a day or two and
ponder if they really want to post it to everyone.
