General Interest-ed:

I became involved in commodities trading as most of you to make money trading.I was recently speaking to one of my brokers about the Nasdaq 100 and he said he does not trade it but looks at it as a way to long term invest in America via those companies in the index. He has been long 2 years and simply rolls-over.Likewise he has been long the S&P for 5 years based upon the same idea.

It made me realize how naive I am not to have realized the implications of this years ago.I am going to add this concept to my investment portfolio once I can figure out a good entry point.

I apologize if there is nothing new here for some of you. But if just one of you had not thought of this before, I will consider it time well spent.

Regards,
John
