Unfortunately, my books don't give the formula for Rate-Of-Change. It is
simply an indicator that is pretty much standard for any of the software
charting programs on the market. The manuals describe the indicator and
how it works and how to change the parameters but don't really give the
formula.
Hopefully another Realtrader can pass along the actual formula. I'm sure
someone out there has it. In the mean time I will keep looking and send
along what I find. This indicator, as I have presented it (ala Martin
Pring), looks too good to take with a grain of salt.
As I posted in another reply, if I new how to convert the SuperCharts
chart to a GIF file I would "attach" some to my replies for observation.
