Like a lot of ideas, the theory is great but the execution may not be
so easy. If the "undervalued" stock is of a low value because the
company is going down the tubes, then the disparity between that stock
and a higher valued one may increase, not decrease. There is usually
some reason why a stock is undervalued; it may be because the company is
not as good at what they do as the "overvalued" compete.

Robert Stovall...the father, seen on CNBC runs money this
way....You may be able to contact him or the son for
info.

He may restrict to Dow Jones stocks....You would have
to move in equal Dollar Amounts.

The MMTS...Merrill Lynch Trust...is constantly invested
in the bottom 10...highest yield Dow Stocks....
so that could be the Long Side of the equation...

Against which one could trade short in fractional amounts
against it.

AOL has a (keyword) TAC for Top Advisors Corner...and one
of the offerings only offers "short sales"....maybe I saw
that at Big Charts.com....This service is always offering
shorts...even in bull phase.

I would be interested in what any one learns about any
of the above mentioned.

Hope this helps,
